Description
A mailing envelope and letter from Alice Badger to Eveline M. Hayward, dated November 19, 1882. Alice writes that she is home again and that her sister, Delice, now has four children. Her father now deceased, Alice has hopes of her mother visiting Vermont next year. Alice's brother, Charlie, has moved to Racine, Wisconsin in search of a job and had worked in the brick yard for the last four years earning $2.50 a day.
Archival master image scanned in reflective mode as 48-bit RGB color TIFF using Epson 11000XL. Display image is 8-bit 150 dpi JPG, quality rating 8, generated from uncompressed archival TIFF using Photoshop CS5.1 (64-bit).
