Abstract
It is the purpose of this study (1) to use audio-visual aids as much as possible in order to determine their value in providing rich experiences necessary for the satisfactory progress and development of first grade children; (2) to give tests to show the progress; and (3) to present information •concerning the techniques employed by other first grade teachers, as revealed through interviews.
