Abstract
The basis of my work has been mainly an expression of the human form. The figure for me, is a point of departure, to search and discover, and return to as an outpost of security. The image in my mind and the manner in which I express it is a complex problem. Drawing, painting, and sculpture are ways to discipline my own daily life. My art work in its preliminary stages, the influences of other works, and day by day experiences; are all involved in the final form of expression. I will analyze and investigate these factors so that I may better understand and interpret my work. My work will be by no means conclusive. Only an area of thought made concrete will represent my efforts towards a level of achievement for a degree of graduate standing.
