Abstract
The objective of this thesis is to present glaze formulas which can be matured in an electric kiln, to produce crystal formations with consistent results, and be obtained without fritting. Contained within are twenty formulas of which only eight have been found to produce crystal formations consistently and to the satisfaction of this experimenter. The remaining twelve have data which may or may not be useful for continued development to produce a successful crystalline glaze.
