From Congressional Papers of Dan Glickman, MS 97-05, Box 79, FF 7B. Contains two form letters written by Glickman to selected individuals. April 27, 1981 form letter from Glickman to Malcolm Baldrige, Secretary of Department of Commerce; Benjamin Huberman, Acting Director of Office of Science and Technology Policy; Casper W. Weinberger, Secretary of Department of Defense; and James G. Watt, Secretary of Department of Interior. This form letter is about P.L. 96-479, the National Materials and Minerals Policy, Research and Development Act of 1980. The second form letter, also from April 27, 1981, is from Glickman to O.A. Beech, Chairman of the Board of Beech Aircraft Corporation and Russell W. Meyer Jr., Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Cessna Aircraft Company. This form letter asks its recipients for input on topics for the Subcommittee on Transportation, Aviation, and Materials to cover during the 97th Congress.
