Abstract
Some of the many models for vortices are presented. The goal of this article is to provide the reader a brief overview of the available models and present some comparisons of the models for character, utility, and accuracy. Sixteen inviscid, laminar, and turbulent models are discussed; models considering transition are included as a subsection of turbulent models.
