Abstract
It was the purpose of this study to investigate a
broad scope of lithographic methods and techniques, each
allowing the artist a more varied and spontaneous means of
expression in the creation of original lithographs. These
include basic materials and their use, specific techniques
chosen for their unique contribution to a desired visual
effect, and the sources and corrections of some common
problems which would hamper the artist ' s freedom of expression.
