"SHAFT" Special Publicity Material

Interview transcripts and features prepared by Russwurm Feature Syndicate, Inc. and edited by Walter Burrell to promote movie "Shaft." Director Gordon Parks, title role actor Richard Roundtree, producer Joel Freeman, still photographer and director's son David Parks and film editor Hugh Robertson are the interviewees. Movie premiered July 2, 1971, over six months after interviews were conducted.
