Description
Report commissioned by the University of Wichita Board of Regents is comprised of 12 sections: The Master Plan Study; History of the University of Wichita; Specific Background; National and Local Population Growth; Wichita Metropolitan Planning; Existing Physical Plant of University; Contemplated Construction; Problems, Forecasts and Desires; Summary; Statement of Aims; Plan Studies; and Conclusions. Section H on "Problems, Forecasts and Desires" contains narrative descriptions of issues facing colleges, schools and departments based on statements of and discussions with deans and administrators. Maps dated September 1, 1958, on pp. 43-44 depict "1970 Projection" and "Beyond 1970 Projection."
