Abstract
The scope of this paper is primarily limited to reaction to Soviet recognition in Kansas during the period immediately preceding and following the establishment of normal diplomatic relations November 6, 1933. At times it was necessary to go into some detail in regard to events on the national scene, but only when this was pertinent to reaction in Kansas.
