Abstract
From reported trends of high school curriculum change over the United States and statements made by officials of the Kansas State Department of Education, it was felt by the writer that: (1) the curriculum, in terms of course offerings and enrollments in high schools of Kansas, has undergone measurable change during the ten year period; and (2) the change that has taken place is of statistical significance. It was the purpose of this study, through a technique of curriculum research, to determine if this is a valid hypothesis. Another purpose lay in the hope that the results of the study might be useful to school administrators, curriculum workers, and other persons who may be concerned with curriculum improvement.
