Abstract
This thesis study was conducted to determine
the feasiblilty of using harmonic analysis in a
method of predicting fatigue life. Specifically
a periodic load-time history is represented in the
form of a Fourier series and each term of this series
applied as damage elements through Miner's equation.
($\Sigma n_i/N_i = 1$ at failure) The result is a superposition
of sine wave inputs.
