The sorority was organized in 1922 by members of other sororities and freshmen women. p. 3 -- Final instructions; Coach Jack Mitchell (above) gives instructions to Shocker members prior to the entrance into the South Dakota game. The Shockers went on to win the game 39-13. p. 5 -- Back again: When the Shockers take the floor for the season's basketball opener against Ft. Hays, State, [sic] Dec. 1, three lettermen will be beginning their last year of eligibility.
