A significant development is underway at Dr. Glen Dey Park, with the construction of a dedicated cricket field for the Wichita State University (WSU) Cricket Club. Located approximately two miles from the WSU campus, this new facility is the result of a collaborative effort between the WSU Cricket Club, Campus Recreation, and Wichita Park & Recreation. This initiative aims to provide a premier venue for WSU's cricket enthusiasts, who will soon have a convenient and high-quality field to play on. The WSU Cricket Club, boasting around 100 members, actively participates in a league that includes teams from Oklahoma and Arkansas.
