The woman is in a short sleeved, dotted, wrap style dress with pleating at the shoulders; she is also wearing a brooch. She has glasses and her hair is pulled back. In all three, they are sitting next to one another.
Original envelope reads in handwritten in ink, "12/2 - 1949 Mr and Mrs John Schott 631 East 8 12 - 4/6 Horizontal $12.00 4486 - J"; handwritten in pencil, "Proofs, Thursday"
