Description
This image shows four Native Americans on horseback. Two are carrying deer, one is holding a rifle, and another has a quiver of arrows. Foliage and other landscape features are visible. 'Return from the Hunt' is handwritten at the bottom, and the artwork is signed 'J. E. Taylor 1882.' Taylor was an American artist known for his skill and the professional connections he developed with military and government personnel.
