Abstract
With the invention of Bitcoin in 2008 Blockchain came into the limelight. Since then, it has evolved over the decade and is the greatest technology today for secure information sharing. Although a variety of problems can be solved by adopting blockchain technology, this technology is still struggling to conquer the market as expected. This thesis investigates the drivers of adopting blockchain technology in business organizations' supply chain functions by considering theoretical and empirical approaches. It also presents the positive and negative relations between different constructs of a proposed research model. Our findings provide directions for supply chain professionals for considering important factors in adopting the emerging blockchain technology into their supply chain process.
