Photograph(s): Carnival scenes: Susie the Snake Charmer and Sam the Strong Man were crowned at the annual Cowboy Carnival held Friday night in Henrion Gym. Judy Howard of Delta Delta Delta and John Potts of Pi Alpha Pi reigned at the dance following the carnival; Two Phi Upsilon Sigma pledges got mussed up in the pie throwing booth at the Cowboy Carnival. Two students bought tickets to throw [illegible] of shaving cream; Delta Delta Delta's entry at the Cowboy Carnival was a marriage booth. Two students emerged from the booth happily 'married.' p. 1-- President of the debate club, Karl Friedel, right and Prof. Melvin Moorhouse, debate coach, look over the trophies to be given at the debate tournament, Friday and Saturday. Approximately 200 students from 30 universities are expected to attend. p. 3
