Two shirtless men, Pfc. Seymour Israel and an unidentified Chinese aide, sit on the shore of the Sanhe River in southeastern China using a Coleman stove to cook lunch.

He is accompanying a team of Air Ground Aid Section men on a rescue mission tour. In the background coolies sit in flimsy boats on the waters of the Sanhe River used in connection with the mission. Southeastern China. 7/14/1945
