It was back in the "good ole days," when this picture was snapped, that the Jinx was frequently "lost." p. 1 -- Queen to be honored: Many courtesies and honors will be tendered Miss Doris Miller during the week-end when she will reign as the 1934 Home-coming Queen of the University. She has chosen Dene Heskett to act as her escort at the All-University dinner tomorrow evening, the football game Saturday, and the Varsity Saturday night, Miss Miller is a sophomore student in the College of Fine Arts. p. 1 -- New 4-H Club officers: New officers of the University 4-H Club are, from left to right: Miss Margaret Kohl, social chairman; Edwin Miller, president; Miss Ann Blackford, reporter; and Miss Lois Noffsinger, secretary-treasurer. Miss Mary McLaughlin, vice-president, is not pictured. These officers will carry on the work of the club during the year. p. 2 -- On committee: Miss Helen Stoner is on the committee in charge of the Homecoming Varsity to be Saturday evening in honor of the Queen and the alumni. p. 4 -- On program: Miss Marie Roth gave several piano selections for the Music Appreciation class Tuesday. p. 4 -- Attendant to queen: Miss Frances Laffoon who is the Epsilon Jappa Rho attendant to the Home-coming Queen, Miss Doris Miller, will be honored Saturday. p. 5 -- Defeated: Miss Janice Chambers, president of Pi Kappa Psi sorority, was defeated in the race for Home-coming Queen by the narrow margin of four votes. p. 6
