1 negative, 2 images - portraits of a young man in a sailor's uniform. He does not wear a hat. The insignia on his arm suggests petty officer first class. He has short neat hair with a widdows peak.
Original envelope reads "12/16-1944", "W. H. Slater", "D.T.W Div[?] 2", N.A.S. $3.00 pd", and ".T.P. 6 2 1/2x2 1/2". Additionally in the upper right corner is the Hirst Studio stamp reading "Hirst Studio 414 Avenue B East HUTCHINSON, KANSAS"
