Production records for Cessna C-145/C-165, serial number 457

These records contain information on the Cessna C-145 and C-165 models. The only significant difference between the two was in the installed engine’s output, which could be 145 or 165 horsepower. This distinction accounted for a given plane’s model number. Basic data includes each plane’s serial number, N-number, purchaser, engine type, delivery date, color, and change in ownership. Record types for each plane may include production order forms, index and punch cards, weight and balance checks, aircraft registration, packing sheets for parts ordered, repair and alteration forms, service orders, test reports, drawings, among others.
