Description
View of bridge at Eleventh Street on the Little Arkansas River. Originally identified as Campbell Bridge due to its proximity to the Burton H. Campbell residence on the west side of the river. Funds for construction of the bridge were provided by a New Deal relief program, the Civil Works Administration, during the Great Depression. The shadow of the photographer and his camera on the grass in the foreground may have been a signature of Frank Wesely.
