Abstract
In this paper, two main types of extreme cultural diffusionist
thought shall be examined. The "Unqualified Extremism",
such as the works of Ignatius Donnely, and Erich von Daniken;
and, "Qualified Extremism", like the studies of Thor Heyerdahl.
