Tom Townsend. p. 3 -- WSU representative: Gerrie Hungate is WSU's 1970 representative to the Miss Cheerleader USA Contest. The contest is scheduled for Dec. 26 in Cypress Gardens, Fla. p. 8 -- Bet you can't do it: So says freshman Allan Burke as he executes a free exercise movement. Burke is from Wichita Heights and is due to see a lot of action for this year's gymnastic team. p. 9 -- Time for a swim? A former Marine, Jim Hughes from Wichita East should blossom into a consistent performer this year. p. 9 -- Veteran performer: Senior Bob Carroll is expected to provide the gymnasts with leadership. p. 9 -- Kingsley's best: Junior John Kingsley adds depth to the rings.
