Abstract
Nudism aka naturism, is a controversial practice popularized mainly in the Western cultures where individuals get together to go skinny-dipping, sunbathing, or simply enjoying leisure activities in the nude in assigned locations. For decades, there have been many arguments about naturists' activities. This study aims to identify how naturists seek to gain social acceptance in The Naturist Society's website. Using a rhetorical analysis method, this study answers three main questions: First, how are nudists represented in the organization's website; second, what arguments do they express; and third, do the representations of nudists in the website constitute a system of justification. Future studies are needed to better understand the justifications from both sides of the argument.
