Minutes: Summary of action taken: 1. The minutes of February 25, March 4 and March 18 were approved -- 2. The order of business was changed to have the University T&P Committee report first followed by the discussion of Provost candidates -- 3. The KMUW Advisory Council proposal was postponed until the May 6 meeting -- 4. The members present agreed to take a straw vote of the candidates for Provost -- 5. The Senate agreed not to rank the Provost candidates and not to have the tally reflect a ranking but to send the votes forward -- (Informal proposals and statements): Presentation of student interests / Senator Perel -- Comments regarding KMUW ad hoc Committee's concern about the inclusion of the proposal for an advisory council / Senator Billings -- Announcement of AAUP Leadership Awards Dinner -- Senator J.
