Description
Document consists of printed versions of correspondence between Kansas Governor John A. Martin and Attorney General S. B. Bradford concerning enforcement of prohibitory law of 1885. In response, Bradford issued a form letter to the clerks of the court and county attorney of each county requesting statistics on criminal prosecution, violations of the prohibitory law and saloon operation. Pamphlet includes Bradford's letter and his summary of responses received from 62 of 85 counties.
