Photograph(s): Represent W.U. in Durant meet: After winning their share of honors at the annual Pi Kappa Delta debate tournament held at Durant, Okla., last week the above University debaters returned Sunday night with two trophy cups. In the back row are Dick Jones and Frank Malone, members of the men's team, and Leroy Lewis, coach. In the front row are Miss Natalie Ring, named best women's individual debator, Miss Vera Setzer, and Miss Loneta Brown. p. 1 -- Furnish music at Twentieth Century: Miss Lorene York, as chairman of the committee in charge of the Derby Race being sponsored by Epsilon Kappa Rho sorority, is rapidly bringing final arrangements to a completion. The dance will be given Saturday evening in the Henrion Gymnasium. p. 2 -- Dinner chairman: Miss Carol Schowalter is in charge of the formal dinner to be given Saturday evening by members of Kappa Delta Pi. The dinner will precede the formal initiation of pledges into active membership of the educational group. p. 3 -- Gain recognition in city basketball circles: Although unable to withstand the competition of the state tournament play, these five University men and their acting coach, "Red" Shadoan, gained considerable recognition in the city basketball field by sweeping through the city tournament undefeated by the double elimination plan of play. They are labeled as the freshman team. Left to right, they are, Shadoan, Skinner, Kuhl, Wilson, and Steele. p. 4
