Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to present a digital computer program which uses as a foundation the matrix force, or indirect flexibility method, and the matrix displacement, or indirect stiffness method, of structural analysis. By means of the analogy which exists between the two methods, a single program was designed to be used for either method of analysis.
