Description
Battery Anderson, Burmuda Hundred, Virginia, October 24, 1864: Charles West informs Frank that General Sheridan has won several victories in the Shenendoah Valley, most of the men in his unit voted once again for Lincoln in the presidential election. He also expects Richmond and Petersburg to fall soon.
