Abstract
Osteoarthritis of the knee is a very disabling condition that affects millions of patients. Numerous treatment options exist for this progressive condition. Treatment options for physical therapists include therapeutic exercise for both strength and endurance and to assist with weight loss, manual therapy techniques, bracing and assistive device prescription or recommendation are just a few. Additionally, adjunctive therapies such as nutrition and supplementation consultation are beneficial in some patients.
