Description
Significant game of the 1981 Sweet 16 was the Shockers' 66-65 victory over in-state rival, the University of Kansas. Unfortunately, the season ended in the next round. Fans welcomed the team home from the "Battle of New Orleans" at Wichita's Mid-Continent Airport.
