Abstract
Data-security is a remarkable hurdle to the vast embracement of Cloud utility. In this paper, we introduce a distinctly secured data logging framework to keep track of the genuine usage of end-user's information in the Cloud. In particular, an approach focusing data is proposed to enable enclosed logging process with the user data and policies. A line-by-line security of file authentication is developed using the Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) and Message Digest 5 (MD5) algorithms to provide a dynamic and a secure Cloud environment. In case any unauthorized person attempts to access data, the framework triggers an authentication error message and automates logging details to the data owner. Ten different cases are tested; each case is tested at least ten times. The proposed data logging framework performs correctly as expected and shows potential to improve Cloud security. According to the experimental results, the proposed framework may help decrease unauthorized access, data theft, and data loss.
