Debby broke her ankle on a recent skiing trip to Aspen, Colorado, and artistic friends attempted to cheer her up. p. 2 -- Believability: Senator George McGovern (D-SD) will bring his ideas on the [illegible] gap to Henry Levitt Arena Monday. p. 3 -- Dr. John Milieu wearies with the hours of registration, but attempts to advise yet another struggling student. p. 5 -- Bored resignation is the attitude of senior Patty Hunt as she once again looks at her packet of enrollment cards and forms. p. 5 -- Byron Dienstbach searches the list of classes but counselor Dale Drum already know most of them are closed. p. 5 -- Mrs. Paula Mansfield, left, and Cathy Hollister, pore over their schedule of classes for courses that will meet their academic needs. p. 5 -- The Field House Follies are too much for Joan Dann. and she’s relieved to relinquish her schedule to Mrs. Bessie Duggan for inspection. p. 5 -- Returning: Jerry Miller, returned Peace Corps volunteer, enchants this WSU coed with his tales of adventure from Brazil. Miller will he on campus 1 this week recruiting volunteers. p. 7 -- Enjoying the view: Three football recruits are shown enjoying their luncheon in the press box at Cessna stadium. The men shown are part of the group of 29 freshmen hopefuls who were hosted by the WSU athletic department. Following the luncheon, the group was taken to Henry Levitt Arena where they watched the WSU-Tulsa game. / Dave Henry. p. 10 -- Half time: These 29 football recruits were presented at half time ceremonies at the WSU-Tulsa game. The men are being introduced to the 6,765 fans who were on hand for the game. p. 10 -- Man to man: Wichita’s Greg Carney gives Tulsa’s Ron Carson (20) some trouble as Carson tries to bring the ball in-bounds. p. 11 -- All alone: Wichita’s Preston Carrington (10) goes up for an easy two points against Tulsa. Carrington scored eight points against the Hurricanes. p. 11
