After suffering a broken foot last week, Miss Sears "sat out" at the Homecoming Dance that night. / photo by Dick Vye. p. 1 -- First place winner: Alpha Phi sorority won the top trophy in the women's division for their depiction of a German forest, complete with weather house. This is the second consecutive year for the organization to win first in the Homecoming displays. / photo by Keesko Reed. p. 1 -- Top trophy grabber: The men of Beta Theta Pi won the men's division first place trophy for their Homecoming display. Wu Shock was "finding it fast" in the yellow pages, as he clutched a cougar in his hand. The University group recently went on a tour of the plant in connection with a project assigned in class. The students will produce a complete advertising campaign for the firm in cooperation with the Associated Advertising Agency which arranged the trip. From left to right are Bob Pope, Marty Malone, Max Pemberton, and Paula Bird, students; Gene Bratton, assistant professor of journalism, and Ralph L. Latimer, advertising manager. p. 4
