Abstract
In 2007, Wichita State University requested a change in its status with the Higher Learning
Commission to offer five degrees through distance delivery. Those programs were
the RN-BSN option in nursing, the master’s degrees in gerontology and criminal
justice, the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and a proposed Master of Arts in Teaching.
