Abstract
OBJECTIVE OF RESEARCH Major changes in the structure of employment are taking place in the United States. These changes many times cause hardship for the individuals affected by the change. The objective of this study is to project employment trends against a known background of labor force trends and general economic development to obtain a view of the probable employment pattern by 1975. It is hoped that in this way future employment problems may be identified.
