Abstract
At Wichita State University the Doctor of Physical Therapy entry-level program prepares students to
examine, evaluate, diagnose, and treat people with disabling conditions resulting from injury, health
problems or disease. Students learn to assess their client's and patient's movements in order to apply
appropriate plans that target individual needs.
Key Program Features:
• Close proximity to clinical sites. The PT Program at WSU affiliates with a variety of clinical sites
throughout Kansas. This give students close access to gain real-world experience in their
profession.
• Clinical education. Students have the opportunity to learn quality physical therapy care through
a variety of clinical learning experiences facilitated by clinical instructors.
