Photograph(s): Play casts are picked: Two separate casts for "Meet the Wife" were announced this week by George D. Wilner. The play will be given on Oct. 28 and 29. Shown above are Katherine Lansdowne, Ann Nichols, Raelph Harding, Gene Setzer, Hample Fairleigh, and Stanley Diamond. Members of the other cast are, back row, George Batka, Malcolm Nicholson, Merle Millham; front row, Dorothy Perry, Stanley Hamilton, and Ruth Williams. The latter group wll give the initial performance. p. 1 -- [Jane] Evans. p. 1 -- [Kathleen] Hite. p. 2 -- Y. W. women officiate: These six women have charge of the monthly Y.W.C.A. meeting next Wednesday. They are Martha Barrett, Eleanor Doty, Katharine Israel, Gail Frank, Mary Jean Shaft, and Kathleen Keating. p. 3 -- Glee Club heads elected: Newly elected officers of the University Girls' Glee Club are Myrabel McNeil, president; Velma Mae Popkins, secretary-treasurer and accompanist; Bonnie Meyer, business manager; and Vivian Schmidt, librarian. The group, under the direction of Harry M. Kaufmann, is now rehearsing for it's public concert scheduled last this semester. p. 3 -- South Dakota's veteran line: The Jackrabbit coach is depending largely upon the South Dakota veteran line - the front wall to stop the Shocker offense. The Dakota team is hoping to reverse the results of last year's game which ended 20 - 0 in favor of Wichita. The local squad is free from injuries. All are understood to be eligible from a scholastic standpoint. p. 4
