Oral history release and typed transcript of interview of Cirilo P. Arteaga conducted by Carolyn Rosales Benitez as part of Kansas Humanities Council's Heritage Grant Project "Better Together: An Ethnic Heritage Initiative" in partnership with "We the People," a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities. The interview records Arteaga's stories of El Huarache, a small barrio in North Wichita, documenting the history for future reference. Carolyn is identified as Carol in transcript.
