He averaged 20.2 points per game this season for Kansas coach Ted Owens. p. 7 -- Shape up or ship out: Head Coach George Karras gives instructions in spring football work outs and everybody listens or else. Spring practices started last Monday and will continue through April and end with an Alumni game April 31. p. 7 -- Shocker all-star: Kelly Pete (21) displayed the defensive ability he is known for against the North All-Stars Saturday night and earned the praise of his former teammate, All-American Dave Stallworth, after the game. Pete averaged 16.5 points per game this season. p. 8 -- Most valuable player. p. 8
