Abstract

THE CONCEPT OF REALITY THROUGH THE USE OF THE HUMAN FORM AND ITS ENVIRONMENT

During 1965 and 1966 I made prints and paintings which I present as my thesis for the degree of Master of Fine Arts. These prints and paintings are based on the theme of the human form as I have observed it. I have expressed my concept of reality through the use of the form and its environment. With the exhibition of these prints and paintings I submit a written report which expresses the relationship between the theme and the chosen techniques, explaining these techniques in terms of process, motive, textural expectations and surface exploitation. This report intends to show the facets which implement the creation of the thesis of prints and paintings.
