Abstract
Fiest-order Community Satisfaction factors obtained for a sample of residents of Istanbul, Turkey, were subjected to second-order factor analysis; a solution with two oblique factors ("General Satisfaction" and "Excitement/Dulness" resulted. Finding were compared to those of previous studies and results were discussed with regard to their implications for theories of community satisfaction.
