Description
This letter regards a full list of defendents in the Chicago Tribune in the suit of the Government against the stock holders of the Union Pacific Railroad and Credit Mobilier. Elizabeth writes that they will take the ground that the act of Congress, upon which the bill of the Attorney General is based, is unconstitutional and they will take the matter to the Supreme Court. Other topics are also discussed. Newspaper article included.
