Description
A telegram from Bradford Merrill, Managing Editor of The WORLD proposes that Walker go to the Philippines for three months to write the truth about the situation there, stating that it would be ''a real service to the American people.'' Also included are letters from the U.S.S. Scorpion in Caledonia Bay regarding bringing in men to work and problems with insurgents.
