Description
Images show the book's front cover, spine, title page, several woodcuts, and back cover. This Latin text is the first known book on physical culture. It was a collaboration between author and physician, Girolamo Mercuriale, and artist, Pirro Ligorio. Cristoforo Coriolano created the woodcuts.
