Letter from Joseph Leffard to S. A. Beaty [Beatty]

Leffard writes to his sister Susanna "S. A. Beaty" Beatty and refers to her as "Sue" and "sister." He reports that several men in the family are "all goin to war" and doesn't know when he will be drafted. An unidentified woman adds several sentences to the second page about her health, new baby and husband Flecher's [Fletcher's] imminent military service. Leffard closes the letter with an elaborate signature. Written from Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.
