Description
This is a letter from Captain Orr regarding movements on the Zand River. He writes about gun fire and the Boers in full retreat. He mentions provisions and how the army is devouring everything. He also writes of future movements. He also states that over five hundred ''free staters'' surrendered and the war is over as far as they are concerned.
