Abstract

I have found this study of Nietzsche to be provocative, exciting, and even entertaining. I do not agree with everything he says, but I am becoming more and more convinced or the worth or his contribution. I think it would be difficult to over-estimate the value of his naturalistic approach to religion. His attempt to accomplish this task is the theme or my paper, and 1ffY belief in the necessity of such an attempt, together with the conviction that Nietzsche has been grossly misinterpreted and :misused, has served as the incentive for the study.
